Sweet Escape

The beaches of Oahu are all different, with their own special vibe. Although a beach might look good to the naked eye, it can be extremely difficult to capture that special ambiance through a photograph. This stretch of beach on the north shore had all the elements I was searching for. I walked along the warm, soft sand along the waters edge, framing various angles. This lone palm tree on the waters edge set the scene for the perfect beach shot. The smell of the ocean, a warm breeze, and rustling palm leaves all triggered my senses as I pressed the shutter.
