Kona

The Big Island, Hawaii
Exploring the pristine sands of Kona, Hawai’i, I set out to capture the magic of the sunset as it hit the beach. As the sun lowered onto the horizon I saw my moment and grabbed my camera to seize the silhouette of the palms perfectly framed by the fiery glow. Seconds later the scene disappeared forever. A warm breeze filled the air as I pressed the shutter, bringing with it the scent of the flowers along the beach and the salty spray of the ocean.
