After spending a week in the dense mountains of Italy - it was time to set off for the small town of Paestum, home to some of the most well preserved ancient Greek temples in the world. As it turns out, so does everybody else! Not one for crowds and looking for something more off the beaten path - exploring the rugged shores of the Cilento Coast was the next option.
Driving in and out of beachfront dirt roads for days finally led to the discovery of this gorgeous location. The thick forest of trees opened up to the most amazing beach, and not a soul around! The simplicity of this jetty was so powerful. Now it was just a waiting game. The perfect location was discovered - it was now up to a little help from Mother Nature. After enduring 3 days of bland skies, patience had paid off. The clouds rolled in and the most amazing sunset lit up the sky- it was time to start shooting. Over quickly, the sun had set, the moment had passed, and the shot was finally captured. Now it was time to just sit back and enjoy the sounds of the sea.
