Orpheus Sunrise

The incredible calmness and serenity I felt this morning as I greeted the day, translates perfectly in this stunning image of the sun rising over the shores of Orpheus Island. The fingers of golden sunlight play over the rolling waves in an beautiful display of colour and movement. I set up on the smooth foreground rocks and watched as the silent shoreline came alive through my viewfinder. As I pressed the shutter on this memorable scene, I felt truly at one with nature.
