Majestic

Canyonlands National Park, Utah
I had visited the arch three sunrises in a row, but shot only bland skies. This morning the air felt different as I hiked by flashlight to the arch. As I set up to shoot, the cloudy skies moved overhead and cast a painterly glow over the scene. As the sun rose I pressed the shutter and captured a truly majestic moment that I will never forget.
