Canyonlands National Park, Utah
The monumental grandeur of American landscapes is what really inspired me as a photographer. Standing on the edge of the cliff overlooking the canyon, I was in awe of such epic glory. There had been an incredible summer storm over the past week. I was at the park and this evening I felt something major was going to happen. I hiked to my favorite point and as I set up for sunset, the electric blue sky was overtaken by fiery clouds. I took a series of shots as thunderclaps echoed throughout the valley, and selected this one for my galleries.
