I was completely overwhelmed with the feeling of history and spirituality I discovered in Canyonlands. I sat for hours and absorbed the atmosphere before the time was right for me to translate my experience to film. I was totally alone in this vast heartland, but I felt surrounded by the spirit of ancient Native American gatherings which had occurred in this most sacred of places. I could feel the presence of the land, and was humbled by its power.
